About Me
I was educated in England, thank goodness, as Spilling and Grammar (tee hee)
are quite important in this industry. I love to read books on natural health
and self-healing, and people’s journeys through cancer and other debilitating
illnesses.
I love to garden and grow our food as much as possible, which is a great way to
connect to yourself and other power sources. I’m also an enthusiastic cook and
love to try new things. Bob and I like to travel when we can and wish Australia
was like Europe, where dogs can go anywhere with you; buses, planes, hotels,
restaurants, etc.
I have fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. They are a great source
of pleasure and entertainment. Family is a huge part of our life at work and
at home.
About Work
I no longer work in the factory but like to keep my hand in where I can. Part of
my job was quality control and I still visit most days to keep an eye on things.
I love the fact that the boss has let me semi-retire and I also love that we have
great staff and things run just as well without me. I still play an active role as
consultant, and bucket-of-ice-water-chucker when ‘he who must be obeyed’
gets a little excited. Popping Bob back down to earth occasionally is my duty!
It’s great that my kids and their kids work for us, so it will always be a family
business.
